I met Nancy through a mutual friend, and she reached out to me when she heard about Find Hope Here. So I asked Nancy to send me a digital copy of her book. I wasn’t even past the introduction when I emailed her and said… “I want to have you on the show!”
There are so many women with stories of sexual abuse and brokenness who are willing to tell their stories. What I love about Nancy is that she not only shares her story with vulnerability and honesty… but she points her reader to the hope and healing of Jesus. And that is what we talk about on this podcast!

About Nancy:
Nancy is a retired RN with a keen interest in healing of body, mind, and soul through God’s love and His Word, as illustrated by the book cover of a broken heart mended with gold (kintsugi art).
In 1982, while on her honeymoon in Europe, Nancy and her husband encountered biblical truth while studying at a Christian retreat center in Switzerland called L'Abri. They’ve been following Jesus ever since.
After sixty years in Southern California, Nancy and her husband Tom relocated to the woods of Port Orchard, Washington, in 2018. They enjoy hiking, hanging out with their five grandchildren, and RV-tripping with their dog Rosie.
Nancy thrives on Earl Grey, green smoothies, sourdough, and chocolate. When she’s not writing, she’s reading Christian inspirational non-fiction and laughing with friends and family as much as possible.
