You are tired of platitudes and churchy answers. Me too. God’s Word is alive and powerful and grounds everything I write and speak about. I share His truth with authenticity, courage, and compassion.

I am super excited about the Bible Study I have just published!
DisGraced: How God Redeems and Restores the Broken invites women to dive deep into the Bible and discover the heart of God toward six broken women in Scripture. (Tamar, Rahab, Bathsheba, the woman at the well, the woman caught in adultery, and the sinful woman at Simon's house) Their stories resonate with modern-day readers and offer hope and healing to you and the women you love.

A few more fun facts…
1. Once, I had five children under five. (Twins adopted from Romania, followed by a bio daughter, followed by bio twins, in the span of 3.5 years.) They are my greatest joy and proudest accomplishment ♥️!! I write about family life here.

2. I have a bachelor’s degree in Bible with an emphasis on counseling from Clark’s Summit University...
3. That’s where I met my husband, Greg. He’s been a pastor since we got married 28 years ago. He is kind, patient, funny, and wise. He steadies me in more ways than one!
4. Almost everything I own came from thrift stores, garage sales, or the side of the road. You can see some of those pieces here. I believe God also loves to take discarded, seemingly worthless things and turn them into something beautiful!
5. I've been an entrepreneur since second grade when I sold bubble gum balls on the school bus and the playground (even though chewing gum was strictly prohibited.)
6. I guess that makes me a bit of a rebel. And I'm ok with that!
