The story of "Rahab the Prostitute" provides hope and freedom for those struggling under the heavy weight of shame. Where does shame originate? Why is it so pervasive? And how do we break free from it? 

Something must have gone tragically wrong in Rahab’s life. Who told her she wasn’t worthy of love and respect? Was she abused to the point that she couldn’t see the value of her body? Had Rahab resigned herself to this sin-cursed profession, or was she hoping to someday free herself?  And could she ever have imagined the Hero who would come to her rescue?
