Today, I talk with my son Caleb about the 40-day flip phone challenge that we did a couple of months ago.  If you get my newsletter, you might remember that we ditched our iPhones and went to Nokia flip phones.  It was an eye-opening experience that we can’t wait to share with you.

More about Caleb Whiting:
Caleb Whiting is a college student who loves to take on challenges, especially in the great outdoors. Some of his adventures include backpacking Europe, road-tripping through North America, working at a salmon plant in Alaska, serving rock climbers in the Patagonia mountains of Argentina, hitchhiking across the United States from ocean to ocean, riding motorcycles to remote villages in Madagascar, and hiking the equivalent of one of the seven summits in his college dorm to raise money for Israelis affected by the war (56,200 stairs/26.2 miles/13.5 hours). Caleb's zest for life and adventurous spirit are rivaled only by his love for people and his heart to serve! 

This summer, he will be doing disaster relief work with Samaritan's Purse on the North American Ministries Team. He is anticipating his December graduation and the freedom it will bring, but he is still deciding what to do with it.  Surely, it will involve serving others and adventure.
